SEAS THE DAY! 7th Grade Explores Cape Cod National Seashore

Grade 7 students at the National Seashore gathered around a bottle taking the temperature of the water.
Grade 7 students on the beach at the Cape Cod National Seashore exploring fossils exhibited by the National Seashore Park Rangers.
Grade 7 students standing along the dunes of the National Seashore.
A grade 7 student standing on the National Seashore holding an open clam shell and smiling.
Our 7th graders took their learning beyond the classroom with an unforgettable field trip to the Cape Cod National Seashore! Under the expert guidance of local park rangers, students explored the coastal environment and saw local ecosystems up close.

Learning on location gave our students a deeper appreciation for the unique natural environment right here in our own backyard. A huge thank you to grade 7 science teachers, Ms. Renee Fudala and Ms. Erin Mell-Taylor for organizing such an incredible hands-on learning experience for our 7th grade team!

TWILIGHT TRIUMPH! SMITH TAKES 1ST!

Sophomore cross country runner, Grace Smith, standing with her first place medal for winning the sophomore 5k at the Bob Glennon Twilight Meet held at Barnstable Fairgrounds on October 9.
Grace Smith standing next to the digital winning board with her name in first place and a personal best of 19:53 for her winning performance in the sophomore 5k race on Saturday, October 9.
Congratulations to sophomore Grace Smith for an outstanding performance at the Bob Glennon Twilight Meet on Saturday, October 9, at the Barnstable Fairgrounds!

Running an incredibly intelligent race, Smith paced herself masterfully to beat out over 73 runners from across New England and cross the finish line with a new Personal Best of 19:53 in the sophomore 5K.

We could not be prouder of her hard work and tactical execution and we can’t wait to see what Grace accomplishes next!

Congratulations to Grace and to all our cross country runners for giving it their all at the Twilight Meet!

Go Knights!
