💙 GRADE 6 STEPS UP 💙

step up day
SMHS Peer Leaders welcomed incoming 6th graders to Sandwich Middle High School for Step Up Day!

Throughout the visit, students toured the building and had the opportunity to ask questions about life at SMHS. Most importantly, they met some friendly faces who will help make their transition to middle school a positive one.

Step Up Day is designed to help incoming students feel comfortable, confident, and excited about beginning the next chapter of their educational journey. By getting a firsthand look at the school and connecting with current students, our future Blue Knights can start the year knowing they already belong.

A special thank you to our Peer Leaders for serving as outstanding ambassadors for SMHS and helping our newest students feel welcomed into the Blue Knight community.

We can't wait to see the Class of 2032 this fall!

7th & 8th Grade Field Day

8TH GRADE
Our 8th grade students enjoyed the annual Field Day with an exciting day of competition and fun. Each class competed in 10 different events at DeConto Field, testing their teamwork and determination in challenges ranging from tug-of-war to blindfolded obstacle courses.

After field activities, students headed to Oak Crest Cove, where they enjoyed a relaxing afternoon swimming, playing football, volleyball, and basketball, and spending time together with friends. The annual tradition gave students the opportunity to celebrate the end of a successful year, strengthen class bonds, and create lasting memories as they prepare for high school.
