The Class of 2026 celebrated a memorable Senior Week filled with traditions and time spent together before embarking on their next chapter.
Their jam-packed week included a day exploring Martha's Vineyard, an early morning sunrise breakfast, a beach picnic, an exciting trip to Six Flags, and a memorable evening aboard a Boston Harbor dinner and dancing cruise on the eve of graduation. It was a fitting celebration of friendships and memories of the Class of 2026.

Dressed in their caps and gowns, the seniors walked through the halls of SMHS before making special visits to Oak Ridge and Forestdale, where many of their educational journeys began. Along the way, students, teachers, and staff lined the hallways with cheers, applause, and well wishes, celebrating the accomplishments of this remarkable class.
We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and all they have accomplished. We can't wait to see what they do next!

Last week, SMHS held class officer elections for the Classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029. It was inspiring to see so many students step forward as candidates, demonstrating initiative, leadership, and a commitment to serving their classmates and our school community. We thank every student who participated and applaud their willingness to lead.
There are still many opportunities for students to get involved. Elections for the SMHS Student Council will take place in September, and we encourage all students interested in making a positive impact on our school to consider running.
Students with questions are encouraged to contact Student Council advisor, Ms. Deana Heras at dheras@sandwich.k12.ma.us for more information.
