KTC’s production of Dear Evan Hansen was an incredible success, showcasing the talent, dedication, and hard work of our Sandwich Middle High School students. From powerful performances on stage to the seamless work behind the scenes, the entire production came together in a truly memorable way.
This achievement would not have been possible without the efforts of so many: students, tech crew members, and families, who all played an important role in bringing the show to life.
A special thank you goes to KTC Director Anthony Teixeira for his outstanding leadership and vision in guiding this production from start to finish.
We are proud of everyone involved for delivering such an amazing experience for our school community! Bravo!

Marketing students hosted a Marketing Exhibition, showcasing their understanding of key marketing concepts.
Each project focused on an actual company and highlighted key strategies such as advertising positioning, customer retention, market segmentation, and data-driven analysis using perceptual maps. The projects were highly visual and engaging, allowing students to clearly communicate their ideas.
In addition to demonstrating their knowledge of marketing strategy, students strengthened their presentation skills by sharing their work with visitors who stopped by to listen and ask questions.
The exhibition provided a valuable opportunity for students to connect classroom learning with real-world applications while building confidence in presenting their ideas. It also proved to be a wonderful experience for our middle school students to engage with high school students and learn about the SMHS Business Pathway.

Students in English 12 Honors brought Frankenstein to life through a creative and engaging final assessment that blended writing, collaboration, and presentation. After completing an open response essay, groups worked together to explore major themes from the novel and connect them to modern-day issues such as cyberbullying, artificial intelligence, and societal responsibility.
Throughout the classroom, students led thoughtful discussions, presented original ideas, and used visuals to support their thinking. Many groups made powerful connections between the treatment of the Creature and challenges in today’s world, emphasizing the importance of empathy, acceptance, and accountability.
The project highlighted not only a strong understanding of the novel, but also students’ ability to think critically, collaborate effectively, and apply literature to real-world situations.

Erin Lehane: Registered Nurse
Ron Horwood: Meteorologist
Michael Thomas: Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer and Technology Professional
Brian Kelly: Wildlife Biologist
Dr. Kristin Sareault: Dentist
Tom Fougere: Electromechanical Engineer
The event provided students with a valuable connection between classroom learning and real-world careers, helping them better understand the many opportunities available in STEM fields.

Students in Mr. Boykin’s Principles of Biomedical Science class took their learning to the next level with hands-on exploration of real-world medical techniques. Using professional training equipment, students practiced procedures such as blood draws on prosthetic arms with real syringes, along with blood flow simulation and intravenous (IV) application.
Working collaboratively, students strengthened both their technical skills and their understanding of how the human body functions in clinical settings. These immersive labs bring classroom concepts to life, building confidence and precision as students apply their knowledge in authentic, high-interest scenarios.
As part of the Biomedical Pathway, experiences like this provide meaningful exposure to the healthcare field and continue to prepare our students for future careers in nursing, medicine, and medical research.
