Tuesday, December 9th, students and staff celebrated the 67th day of school.

From Wednesday, December 17th through Tuesday, December 23rd, Forestdale will be bursting with school spirit as we celebrate the holiday season with a fun and festive series of spirit days. We look forward to a week filled with excitement, creativity, and joyful school-wide celebrations!

A vibrant part of every child’s experience at Forestdale is our Specials program. Over a 56-day cycle, students participate in seven distinct Specials classes, spending seven consecutive days in each. This structure allows students to dive deeply into meaningful, hands-on learning, giving them time to build skills, explore interests, and fully engage in authentic learning units within every special. Physical education (2) and health (1) have 3 cycles (21 days) within a 56 day cycle.

Our Specialist teachers are: Physical Education- Mrs. DeNardo and Mrs. MacDonald, Technology-Mr. Birmingham, Library-Mrs. Scott, Music-Ms Tofteroo, Art-Mrs. White, Health-Mrs. Crosby, and Science-Mrs. Howell

BOKS winter registration is now open for students in Kindergarten thru second grade.

Tuesday, December 23rd is a half day of school. There will not be any lunch or recess. There will only be morning Extended Day. NO AFTERNOON EXTENDED DAY.

This is also a Wellness Day with students and staff participating in wellness activities. One of these activities is our Jingle Jog (similar to the Turkey Trot) run/walk beginning at 10:00 am starting in the bus loop. Families are encouraged to attend and participate with their student.
