The 8th grade class enjoyed an unforgettable day at The Adventure Park at Heritage! Students spent the school day outdoors, challenging themselves on seven ziplines and five treetop trails high above the ground. The trip was the perfect mix of fun and teamwork, as students encouraged one another, faced their fears, and created lasting memories together. It was an unforgettable experience that combined adventure, confidence-building, and connection.
Thank you to the SMHS PTSA for their generous contribution which helped offset the cost of this field trip!

The SMHS Sports & Broadcasting class had the opportunity to connect with Brendan Fitzgerald, a Sandwich High School Class of 2001 graduate who has built an impressive career in sports media.
Brendan shared his journey from his early days at FOX 25 and ESPN to his current role as a play-by-play announcer for the UFC. He spoke about the lessons he’s learned along the way, offered advice for students interested in sports broadcasting, and shared valuable insights about finding your voice in a competitive industry.
We’re proud to see our alumni continuing to inspire Blue Knights by sharing their experience and expertise with today’s students.
Thank you, Brendan!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
It was wonderful to see so many students come out to support our Blue Knights football team at the October 3rd game!
As we look ahead to this Friday night’s Homecoming game, we’d like to share a few reminders to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
- All spectators must remain in the stadium; the surrounding fields (baseball, softball, and soccer) are off-limits.
- Students 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Thank you for helping us maintain a positive environment. We look forward to another exciting night of football and cheering on our team together.
GO KNIGHTS! 🏈
