Last Thursday, SMHS students gathered in the gymnasium for our annual Club Fair. With more than 40 clubs on display, each led by student members and teacher advisors, our students had the opportunity to connect, explore, and discover new ways to get involved.
The variety of offerings highlight the many passions and talents within our school community: Robotics, Debate, Math, International Studies, Jazz Band, Mental Health Advocacy, and Service Organizations like Key Club, plus many more!
The Club Fair has consistently been a major success, with over 300 students signing up last year to participate in clubs. It’s a reminder that there truly is something for everyone at SMHS. We’re excited to see how many students will get involved this year! |
Club registration for the 2025-2026 school year is officially open. Please register using the link below.
If you have any questions about clubs, please contact Sean Donovan, Student Activities and Athletic Director, at sdonovan@sandwich.k12.ma.us. |

Dear Parents and Guardians, It was wonderful to see so many students come out to support our Blue Knights football team at the September 12 game. Our school spirit was amazing! As we look ahead to this Friday night’s game, we’d like to share a few reminders to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
- All spectators must remain in the stadium; the surrounding fields (baseball, softball, and soccer) are off-limits.
- Students 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Thank you for helping us maintain a positive environment. We look forward to another exciting night of football and cheering on our team together.
GO KNIGHTS! 🏈 |

Middle school Student Council elections will be held this week. Please remember that Student Council is a great way for our young students to build leadership skills, work with others, and contribute to school-wide events and projects. Even if your student does not want to run for a class office, all students are welcome to join Student Council and get involved.

Sandwich Middle High School had a special visit from CHEF TONY DiSTEFANO, Director of Culinary Innovations at Whitsons Culinary Group. Chef Tony travels across the country, spending over 170 nights on the road each year, bringing new, exciting meals to students. On this visit, he treated SMHS to his popular HONEY FIRE CHICKEN, which students found absolutely delicious.
A Long Island native and father of five, Chef Tony makes sure every dish he develops is kid-approved by testing it at home with his own children. Along with great food, he also brought great music and plenty of energy, making the day memorable for our students.
We’re grateful to Chef Tony and Whitsons Culinary Group for their dedication to creating meals that students enjoy and look forward to every day. |
