Financial Aid

DEADLINE DATES FOR FILING FINANCIAL AID FORMS WILL VARY FOR EACH SCHOOL - PLEASE BE AWARE OF SPECIFIC DATES AND REQUIRED FORMS FOR EACH SCHOOL YOU ARE APPLYING TO

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  Students and families wishing to apply for financial aid for college must complete the FAFSA.  The application is used to determine the dollar amount you or your family will be expected to contribute towards college.  All federal grant and loan awards are determined by the FAFSA and nearly all colleges use the FAFSA as the basis for their own financial aid awards.

CSS/Financial Aid Profile

The CCS Profile is the financial aid application service of the College Board.  Many colleges, universities and scholarship programs use the information collected on PROFILE to help them award non-federal student aid.  The PROFILE can be completed beginning October 1st.  Not all schools require the CSS/Profile, be sure to check with the schools you are applying to.

FAFSA Forecaster

The FAFSA Forecaster will help you understand your options for paying for college. Provide basic information and the forecaster will estimate your eligibility for federal student aid. Your estimate will be shown in the "College Cost Worksheet" where you can also provide and estimated amounts of other student aid and savings that can go towards your college education.
