The Food Services staff collaborate with Nursing staff at the start of each school year and frequently throughout the school year to identify food allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions among our students. Any medically documented food allergy or sensitivity reported to the Nursing staff will be shared with Food Services staff and documented in the food services information database for the safety of our students. Medically documented food allergies or sensitivities cannot be removed from a student file without medical documentation that the allergy / sensitivity has resolved. In this case, please work directly with your child’s doctor and the Nursing staff. For more information, please visit Health Services.
Parents may choose to contact the Food Services department in writing at [email protected] to notify Food Services staff of any non-medical food restrictions including, cultural / religious restrictions, preferences or other dietary alerts on your child’s account at any time. Account alerts can be helpful if you would like to, for example, restrict purchases to only meals or limit snack purchases to certain items or days of the week.
