To celebrate Arbor Day (April 28) the Environmental Awareness Club planted nine trees along the front walkway to the Sandwich Middle High School. All nine trees were flowering trees, which are helpful to pollinators and will also help beautify the school grounds by giving it more color in the spring and early summer. The trees were planted with the help of Craig Geddis, Tree Warden of the Town of Sandwich. All nine trees were donated by Eversource. We thank everyone who helped make this endeavor happen.
