School-Based Staff Mandated Trainings
The following images include links to trainings that all school-based staff (SEA staff, administrators, and any other staff members who come into contact with children during the day) are required to complete.
● Please read all of the linked information and then submit the Google survey at the bottom of this page your completion of the mandated trainings and required readings
● All mandated trainings should be completed by October 1st of each year
Civil Rights Presentation is required for all staff.
Confidentiality Presentation [Google Slides Format] required for Educators and Secretarial Staff. Not for Custodial staff.
All staff members must complete the 51A mandated reporter online training, per state regulations [Online Module Format]
● You will need to log in to complete the training -- if you have not completed the online training before, you will need to register
● You do not need to print a certificate after completing the training
Restraint Training [Google Slides Format] required for Educators only. Not required for Secretarial or Custodial Staff.
● You do NOT need to print a certificate of completion at the end.
Homeless Education [Google Slides Format] required for Educators and Secretarial Staff. Not required for Custodial Staff.
Life Threatening Allergies in the School Setting [Video Format] required for all staff.
Bloodborne Pathogens & Universal Precautions in the School Setting [Video Format] required for all staff.
Required Readings
While the following documents and information are not part of the mandated training, employees must certify that they recognize that they are responsible for being familiar with the information in these documents.

Verification of Mandated Training
Please click on this Google Form only when you have completed all Mandatory Trainings and have reviewed all Required Reading Documents. This must be completed by October 1st of each year or when a new hire has joined Sandwich Public Schools.
