Technology Ventures - Student Led Technology Initiatives pilot:
Are you interested in technology? Do you have an idea that would solve a problem for you and your classmates within the Sandwich public School District? We need your help.
Tech Ventures is a pilot program funded by Sandwich Public Schools to support student led technology initiatives within the District. Students will create a plan as part of a class, small group, club, or as an individual to find ways to improve the student experience or to solve a known problem through the use of technology. These plans will then be vetted through administration and selected ventures will be implemented within the District. Teachers and staff will serve as mentors to the students as they fully formulate their plan, design a prototype, and work with vendors to create their solution. Student’s don’t necessarily need to know exactly how they would solve the problem, or have experience in coding, prototyping, or engineering. We are looking for students who are passionate about their ideas and want to make SPS a better place. We’ll help you turn your ideas into a functioning project. Apply today.
